Part 1 discussed what God says about you, and how to become a Christian. Now let's go deeper...
Galations 4:7 (AMP)
Therefore you are no longer a slave (bond-servant), but a son; and if a son, then also an heir through [the gracious act of] God [through Christ].
Yes, this confirms the "In Him... " scriptures in Ephesians 1.
WE ARE NO LONGER SLAVES... WE ARE CHILDREN! Are you still living as a slave to the world or do you know who your Father is and living a Kingdom life? This world can trip you up. Just like a wolf in sheep's clothing, slaves and free children work side-by-side performing the same work. If your father owns a big business and you work for that business, your co-workers will treat you differently because they know who your father is. You are doing work right alongside them but your father owns the place and you will be treated as such. However, if your father didn't own the business, yet you were doing the exact same work, your co-workers will treat you much differently. And you will also conduct yourself much differenly when you are with your co-workers. Maybe you've never even met the owner of this business. You go to work everyday to do your job but you aren't concerned if the business is going to prosper.
SAME JOB - DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. In both scenarios above, it's the same job with the same duties for the same company working alongside of the same people. The ONLY difference is the owner. And that owner makes the difference in your perspective of how you conduct yourself and how others treat you.
God wants you to know that you are NOT just a slave worker. You are the son of the owner! God created the world. He even created you. Do you live life from that perspective?
Challenge yourself to live daily from His perspective. Are you conducting yourself as His son or His slave. Let's remember that slaves don't gain an inheritance.
